SB 5529 - DIGEST

(AS OF SENATE 2ND READING 3/13/99)

     Declares an intent to clarify the property tax exemption statutes by:  (1) Repealing unnecessary and duplicative statutes in chapter 84.36 RCW;

     (2) consolidating the exemption statutes for business inventories; and

     (3) simplifying administrative statutes pertaining to nonprofit organizations.

     Repeals provisions of chapter 84.36 RCW.
