SB 5617 - DIGEST

(AS OF SENATE 2ND READING 3/17/99)

     Provides the exemption if he or she is at least sixteen years old and has in his or her immediate possession a valid driver's license issued by the jurisdiction designated as his or her home state.

     Exempts a student who maintains his or her legal home of record at a location outside Washington state, or the spouse or dependent of the student, who is at least sixteen years of age and who has in his or her immediate possession a valid driver's license issued to him or her in his or her home state.
