SB 6113 - DIGEST

     Declares that a corporate name must not contain the phrase "state of Washington" or "Washington state," unless authorized to do so by the state of Washington.  A violation of this subsection shall constitute an unfair or deceptive act or practice in violation of RCW 19.86.020.  Businesses in violation of this provision on the effective date of this act have six months from the effective date of this act to comply with this provision, and will not be penalized during this six-month period.
