(DIGEST OF PROPOSED 1ST SUBSTITUTE)

     Amends RCW 70.94.130 relating to compensation of the board of directors for air pollution control authorities.

     Provides that each member of the board, or his or her representative, may receive from the authority compensation consistent with such authority's rates (but not to exceed one thousand dollars per year) for time spent in the performance of duties under chapter 70.94 RCW, and shall be reimbursed for the actual and necessary expenses incurred by the member in the performance of his or her duties.
