     On page 2, line 18, after "48.43.180." insert "A health carrier that reimburses for a specific medical procedure shall not discriminate against any group of licensed health care professionals authorized to perform that procedure under their scope of practice."

     On page 5, line 22, after "48.43.180." insert "A health carrier that reimburses for a specific medical procedure shall not discriminate against any group of licensed health care professionals authorized to perform that procedure under their scope of practice."

     On page 8, line 22, after "48.46.570." insert "A health carrier that reimburses for a specific medical procedure shall not discriminate against any group of licensed health care professionals authorized to perform that procedure under their scope of practice."

EFFECT: Health carriers are required to reimburse licensed health care professionals authorized to perform a covered medical procedure, if they cover that specific procedure in their benefit plan.
