     On page 19, line 18, after "OF" strike all material through "regional" on line 20 and insert "STATEWIDE SIGNIFICANCE.  The legislature designates the each of the following state highways as a highway of statewide"

EFFECT: Changs the designation of the following state highways from state highways of "regional significance" to "statewide significance": a portion of SR 509; a portion of SR 524; and SR 704, the cross base highway. This change in designation qualifies improvements in these corridors for the 90% funding for state highways of statewide significance rather than the 10% that is for local roads and other certain state highways.
