ESHB 1502 - S AMD 468

By Senators Rasmussen and Morton

    Strike everything after the enacting clause and insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  All conservation district supervisor elections held before December 31, 2002, must take place under the procedures in chapter 89.08 RCW.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 2.  This act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, or safety, or support of the state government and its existing public institutions, and takes effect immediately."

    On page 1, line 1 of the title, after "districts;" strike the remainder of the title and insert "creating a new section; and declaring an emergency."
