    On page 5, after line 31, insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 7.  A municipal corporation, city, county, county public transportation authority, public transportation benefit area authority, regional transit authority, or any other public transit authority which has entered into a contract or agreement prior to this act whereby a private entity provides services may continue with, renew, or amend that contract or agreement consistent with the terms of that original contract or agreement. Nothing in this act may be construed as limiting or affecting the rights, duties, or obligations of parties to a contract or agreement for services entered into prior to this act."

    Renumber the sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: Allows pre-existing services which have been contracted out to continue to be contracted out.
