Background:
The transportation budget provides appropriations to the major transportation agencies: the Department of Transportation (DOT), the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the Department of Licensing (DOL), the Transportation Improvement Board (TIB), the County Road Administration Board (CRAB), and the Washington Traffic Safety Commission (WTSC). The budget also provides appropriations out of the transportation funds to many smaller agencies with transportation functions.
Summary of Bill:
Provides supplemental budget adjustments to the original 1999-01 transportation budget (includes 2000 supplemental transportation budget) due to new emerging issues.
