Background:
Appropriations for the operations of state government and its various agencies and institutions are made on the basis of a fiscal biennium that begins on July 1 of each odd-numbered year.
Summary of Bill:
Appropriations are made for the 2001-03 fiscal biennium. The total appropriations for the fiscal biennium are $36.941 billion, of which $22.722 billion is from the state general fund.
