Background:
The state of Washington purchases health care through several separate state agencies. Each agency uses different transaction forms that health care providers must use. This places an administrative burden on health care providers who serve clients through different state agencies.
Summary of Bill:
An interagency workgroup will develop standardized health care transaction forms for all state purchased health care.

Effective Date: The bill contains an emergency clause and takes effect immediately.
