Background: Cities and towns are required to transmit a copy of the final budget as adopted to the Association of Washington Cities.
Summary of Bill: Cities and towns must transmit completed copies of their final budgets directly to the Municipal Research and Services Center rather than to the Association of Washington Cities.
Appropriation: None.
Fiscal Note: Not requested.
Effective Date: Ninety days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
Testimony For: This will save postage by not having AWC have to send these budgets to the Municipal Research and Services Center.
