HB 1645 - DIGEST

     Directs the department of social and health services' medical assistance administration to administer its prescription drug prior authorization and drug utilization programs in a manner that ensures that beneficiaries have access to medically necessary medicines, giving primary consideration to clinical efficacy and client care.  Cost-effectiveness may also be considered where such consideration would not jeopardize beneficiary access to clinically efficacious prescription drugs.
