HB 2211 - DIGEST

     Requires the department to:  (1) Establish and administer partial wage replacement benefits for victims of domestic violence or stalking as specified in this section, to be known as the domestic violence and stalking victims' compensation benefit;

     (2) Pay benefits to victims of domestic violence or stalking from the public safety and education account;

     (3) Establish procedures and forms for filing claims for benefits; and

     (4) Provide information to claimants for benefits regarding the availability of protection orders under chapter 26.50 RCW and local services provided under chapter 70.123 RCW.
