HB 2298 - DIGEST

     Provides for demonstration projects to improve treatment and management and reduce recidivism rates of mentally ill offenders.

     Appropriates the sum of fifty thousand dollars, or as much thereof as may be necessary, for the biennium ending June 30, 2003, from the general fund--state to the department of social and health services for the purposes of this act.
