(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Establishes the state library in the office of the secretary of state.

     Declares that the state library commission is hereby abolished and its powers, duties, and functions are hereby transferred to the office of the secretary of state.

     Takes effect July 1, 2002.

     Repeals RCW 27.04.020 and 27.04.030.
