On page 4, line 1, after "public." insert "However, maintenance work performed on private residence conveyances located in or at adult family homes licensed under chapter 70.128 RCW, boarding homes licensed under chapter 18.20 RCW, or similarly licensed caregiving facilities must comply with the licensing requirements of this chapter."

EFFECT: Clarifies that maintenance work on private residence conveyances in licensed caregiving facilities is not exempt from licensing requirements for elevator mechanics and contractors.
