   On page 1, line 7, after "36.70A.040" strike "shall" and insert "may"

   On page 3, at the beginning of line 1, strike all of subsection (3)

Renumber the subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: Removes the mandatory 120-day permit compliance provision for local governments. Removes the subsection that: 1) deems a project permit application approved if the local government is unable to comply with specified time limits; and 2) provides for conclusive evidence of project approval if a notice of final decision is not issued.
