ESSB 5659 - H AMD TO H AMD (AMH2954.5)

   On page 1 of the amendment, line 26, strike all of subsection (3) and insert the following:

   "(3) The retail sale or use of motor vehicles, and the lease of motor vehicles for up to the first thirty-six months of the lease, are exempt from tax imposed under this section."

EFFECT: Exempts the sale or use of motor vehicles and the lease of motor vehicles from the new tax.
