   On page 22, after line 22, insert the following:

   "NEW SECTION. Sec 8. A new section is added to chapter 13.40 RCW to read as follows:

   Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a school district may decline to admit a student who has been classified by the Department of Social and Health Services as a level 2 or level 3 sex offender."

Renumber the remaining section accordingly and correct the title.

EFFECT: Permits a school district to decline to admit a student who has been classified by the Department of Social and Health Services as a level 2 or level 3 sex offender.
