   On page 2, line 20, strike all material beginning with "the entire" through "serve" on line 21 and insert "consumers have more choice among health care providers"

   On page 2, line 22, after "ways to" strike "enumerate" and insert "encourage review of"

EFFECT: Modifies the purposes of the committee by striking language related to having a health care workforce that closely mirrors its patients and replacing it with language related to giving consumers more choice among health care providers. Removes the task of the committee to enumerate the racial and ethnic composition of the health care workforce and replaces it with the task of encouraging the review of the racial and ethnic composition of the health care workforce.
