SB 5888 - DIGEST

Declares that the purpose of this act is to authorize a housing allowance for public school teachers in order to encourage these employees to live in the districts in which they work.

Provides that school districts may provide a housing allowance for public school teachers with revenues raised from a housing allowance levy authorized under this act.
