On page 2, line 29, after "proposition" insert "if the levy rate is equal to or less than the levy rate of the existing levy"
EFFECT: If the levy rate for a requested school levy is equal to or less than the levy rate of the existing school levy, a simple majority of those voting will approve the levy. When the levy rate is more, the school levy must receive 60 percent approval and be validated by an amount that equals 40 percent of the voters in the previous general election.
