   On page 2, after line 7, insert

   "(5) The department of health shall study the relationship between the consumption of carbonated beverages and the bone density of children and report on the effects on bone growth in children. The department shall report to the legislature by December 1, 2007."

EFFECT: Requires the Department of Health to study the relationship between the consumption of carbonated beverages and bone density and the effects on bone growth in children.
