EFFECT: The floor amendment removes language from the engrossed bill that established a medical advisory committee. The committee was required to study and make recommendations to the Legislature regarding the best practices in the field of early prevention of breast and cervical cancer. The study was funded through an earlier budget provision and the report was due on December 15, 2005.
