   On page 3, beginning on line 20, after "means" strike all material through "rights" on line 22

   On page 4, line 37, after "(1)" strike "A" and insert "((A)) Except as otherwise provided in this section, a"

   On page 5, after line 37, insert the following:

   "(7) A tribal identification card, or other document issued by a tribal government that identifies the holder as a member of that Indian tribe, may substitute for a specialized forest products permit under this section for the harvest of huckleberries."

   On page 6, line 3, after "provided" insert "otherwise in this section or"

   On page 6, after line 28, insert the following:

   "(3) A tribal identification card, or other document issued by a tribal government that identifies the holder as a member of that Indian tribe, may substitute for a specialized forest products permit under this section for the possession or transportation of huckleberries."

EFFECT: Removes the exception from the definition of "specialized forest products" relating to products harvested under an individual's federally recognized tribal rights and adds a provision allowing a tribal identification card to substitute for a specialized forest products permit for the harvest, possession, or transport of huckleberries only.
