   On page 1, line 16, strike "and"

   On page 1, line 17, after "(4)" insert "There is significant value in recognizing students' attendance and accomplishments in their individualized education programs; and

   (5)"

   On page 2, line 12, after "school;" insert "and"

   On page 2, line 13, after "(c)" strike "The student has met a majority of his or her individualized education program goals and is working on a transition plan; and

   (d)"

EFFECT: Removes a requirement that, to be eligible to participate in commencement ceremonies, the student must meet a majority of his or her IEP goals and be working on a transition plan. Adds a statement that the Legislature finds value in recognizing students' attendance and IEP accomplishments.
