   On page 3, line 34, after "device" insert "in hands-free mode or"

   On page 3, after line 37, insert the following:

   "(5) For purposes of this section, "hands-free mode" means the use of a wireless communications device with a speaker phone, headset, or earpiece."

   Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: Limits the restriction on the use of wireless communication devices by intermediate license holders to individuals who do not use them in hands free mode.
