   On page 5, beginning on line 15, after "community" strike all material through "sale" on line 17

   On page 9, line 6, after "community;" insert "and"

   On page 9, beginning on line 9, after "property" strike all material through "community" on line 15

   On page 9, beginning on line 16, strike all of section 5 and insert the following:

   "NEW SECTION. Sec. 5. A landlord intending to sell a manufactured/mobile home community is encouraged to negotiate in good faith with qualified tenant organizations and eligible organizations."

EFFECT: Removes the requirement that landlords allow eligible organizations a minimum of 12 months to close on a sale of a manufactured/mobile home community in order to qualify for a REET exemption. Removes the requirement that landlords include information about written offers received in the notice of sale. Removes the requirement that landlords negotiate in good faith with local governments and housing authorities.
