   On page 3, line 25 of the amendment, after "providers" insert ", to be designated by the governor and the cochairs of the workgroup"

   On page 3, line 26 of the amendment, after "homes" insert ", to be designated by the governor and the cochairs of the workgroup"

   On page 4, line 14, after "models." strike "Any training standards recommended by the workgroup shall: (i) Be applied uniformly to all basic training required of all long-term care workers;" and insert "Any basic training standards recommended by the workgroup shall: (i) Be applied uniformly to all long-term care workers;"

   On page 14, line 2 of the striking amendment, after "effect" strike "July" and insert "March"

EFFECT: Specifies that representatives of adult family home providers and boarding homes are appointed by the Governor and the cochairs of the workgroup.

Clarifies that basic training standards shall be applied uniformly to all long-term care workers.

Changes the effective date of the collective bargaining provisions from July 1, 2008, to March 1, 2008.
