On page 3, after line 19, insert the following:
"NEW SECTION. Sec. 2 This act applies retroactively to levy lid
lift ballot propositions under RCW 84.55.050 that received voter
approval on or after July 22, 2007, as well as prospectively.
NEW SECTION. Sec. 3 This act is necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health, or safety, or support of the
state government and its existing public institutions, and takes effect
immediately."
Correct the title.
EFFECT: Makes the bill retroactive to lid lift propositions approved on or after July 22, 2007. Adds an emergency clause with an immediate effective date.
