   On page 2, beginning on line 2, after "units." insert the following:

"As part of the effort to determine affordable housing units, there is a need to determine the amount of government-subsidized housing already in existence and future housing that is designated affordable housing through government regulations."

   On page 3, beginning on line 22, after "(10)" insert the following:

""Government-subsidized housing" includes any housing that receives federal, state, or local government moneys including, but not limited to, grants, loans, subsidies, and impact fee waivers."

Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct internal references accordingly.

   On page 7, beginning on line 12, after "community" insert the following:

";(e) clearly identifies the location of any government-subsidized housing and provides a detailed summary of any pertinent government subsidies, including the total dollar amounts received from each government agency, itemized by year, and identifying each housing unit and/or each housing project receiving each specified subsidy"

EFFECT: 1)Adds a new provision to the intent section of the bill emphasizing the need to identify the amount of existing, government-subsidized housing as well as future housing that will be designated as affordable through government regulations; 2) provides a definition of "government-subsidized housing"; and 3) requires that the housing element of a comprehensive plan identify the location of any government-subsidized housing and provide an itemized summary of any pertinent subsidies in accordance with specified requirements.
