   On page 8, after line 27 insert:

   "NEW SECTION. Sec. 6. The department shall contract with two statewide organizations addressing affordable housing issues, homeless issues, or both, to create comprehensive independent statewide affordable housing for all plans consistent with the goals and performance measures of the state and local affordable housing for all plans as described in this act. Recipient organizations must present their affordable housing for all plans to the department and the appropriate committees of the legislature one year following the receipt of contract funds."

   Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly. Correct the title.

EFFECT: Requires the DCTED to contract with 2 statewide affordable housing or homeless organizations to create independent Affordable Housing for All plans consistent with state and local plans.
