   On page 2, line 27, after "program," insert "the number of students enrolled in each program,"

 

   On page 2, line 30, after "access." insert "Data regarding student participation in dual credit programs shall be disaggregated by race, ethnicity, and income to the extent possible. The workgroup shall examine differences in academic calendars between high schools and institutions of higher education to gauge the impact of those differences on current and prospective enrollments in dual credit programs."

 

   On page 3, line 3, after "families." insert "The work group shall also recommend strategies to encourage greater participation in dual credit programs from low-income students and students of color."

 

 

 

EFFECT: Requires the work group to include data about student participation that is disaggregated by race, ethnicity, and income level. The work group must examine the impact of differences in academic calendars, between K-12 schools and institutions of higher education, on enrollments. The work group must also recommend strategies to increase dual credit program participation by low-income students and students of color.
