   On page 2, after line 35, insert the following:

   "NEW SECTION. Sec. 3. For the first twelve months after the effective date of this act, law enforcement officers may only issue verbal warnings for violations of section 2 of this act."

   Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct the title.

EFFECT: Limits law enforcement officers to issuing verbal warnings for violations of the restrictions on the use of wireless communications devices for the first year after the restrictions go into effect.
