EFFECT: Makes a technical correction to ensure that the subsection requiring the department of corrections to hold an offender arrested for a new felony offense in total confinement until a hearing or formal charge has been given specifically refers to an offender sentenced to a term of community custody. Makes a technical correction to ensure that language in the bill properly reflects current practice by the department for actions related to violator sanctions.
