   On page 2, line 24 of the amendment, after "entitlement." insert "At least eighty percent of appropriations to the office in the biennium ending June 30, 2009, and ninety percent in subsequent biennia, must be used for contracts that provide for the direct provision of public guardianship services."

EFFECT: Directs the Office of Public Guardianship to allocate 80 percent of appropriations in the 2007-09 biennium, and 90 percent of appropriations in subsequent biennia, to contracts that provide direct public guardianship services.
