On page 3, line 28 of the amendment, after "or" strike "other industrial activities" and insert "that has not been designated as a mineral land of long-term significance pursuant to chapter 36.70A RCW"
EFFECT: Allows the Department of Natural Resources to allow portions of the Maury Island Aquatic Reserve to be put to industrial purposes if the purpose is a mining operation that has been designated as a mineral land of long-term significance.
