On page 17, after line 31, insert the following:
"(7) The offender's reentry plan shall contain a notice that states
the following: "The purpose of your reentry plan is to reduce
recidivism by minimizing the likelihood that you will commit any
violations, including new crimes, while you either are incarcerated or
on community custody or community placement." The notice shall be:
(a) In print that is in bold face and is larger than the other text of
the reentry agreement; (b) set off by means of a box, blank space, or
comparable visual device; and (c) located directly above the offender's
signature on the reentry agreement."
Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
EFFECT: Requires that a notice be added to the Individual Reentry Plan stating that the purpose of the reentry plan is to reduce recidivism by minimizing the likelihood the offender will commit any violations, including new offenses, while the offender is incarcerated or on community custody or community placement.
