On page 17, line 14, after "incarceration;" strike "and"
On page 17, line 19, after "community" insert "; and
(d) A signed acknowledgment by the offender indicating the offender
understands and agrees to the following:
(i) If he or she is found to have committed three violations of
community custody or community placement after a hearing on each
violation, the offender will be required to serve up to the remainder
of his or her term of community custody or community placement in total
confinement; and
(ii) If the offender is arrested for a new felony offense while
under community custody or community placement, the department shall
hold the offender in total confinement until a hearing before the
department or until the offender is formally charged for the new
offense, whichever is earlier"
EFFECT: Requires the offender to sign an acknowledgment that he or she understands and agrees that if he or she is found to have committed three violations of community custody or community placement after a hearing on each violation, the offender will be required to serve up to the remainder of his or her term of community custody or community placement in total confinement and that if the offender is arrested for a new felony offense while under community custody or community placement, the department must hold the offender in total confinement until a hearing before the department or until the offender is formally charged for the new offense, whichever is earlier.
