   On page 4, line 2 of the striking amendment, after "December 1," strike "2008" and insert "2009"

   On page 5, line 20 of the striking amendment, after "December 31," strike "2008" and insert "2009"

   On page 6, line 29 of the striking amendment, strike all of section 7

   Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: (1) Requires the Department of Community, Trade, and Economic Development to submit a climate change report to Governor and the appropriate committees of the House and Senate by December 1, 2009, rather than December 1, 2008.

(2) Changes the expiration date for the section requiring the report from December 31, 2008, to December 31, 2009.

(3) Deletes an emergency clause that applies to all provisions of the underlying amendment.
