   On page 2, at the beginning of line 25 of the striking amendment, insert "or fewer"

   On page 4, line 4 of the striking amendment, after "convene" strike all material through "from," on line 5

   On page 4, line 19 of the striking amendment, after "(b)" insert "Recommendations produced by the department under this section must be approved by a majority of the voting members of the advisory policy committee.

   (c)"

   Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: (1) Specifies that the Department of Community, Trade, and Economic Development (DCTED), in administering the local government global warming mitigation and adaption program, must select six or fewer cities, rather than six cities, for the program.

(2) Deletes a provision specifying that recommendations in a climate change report produced by the DCTED must be approved by a majority of an advisory policy committee established in the underlying amendment.

(3) Inserts a provision specifying that recommendations in the report must be approved by a majority of the voting members of an advisory policy committee.
