On page 3, line 14 of the striking amendment, after "2011." insert "The report must also consider the positive and negative impacts to affordable housing, employment, transportation costs, and economic development that result from addressing the impacts of climate change at the local level."
On page 3, line 31 of the striking amendment, after "(iv)" insert "Considerations of positive and negative impacts to affordable housing, employment, transportation costs, and economic development that result from addressing the impacts of climate change at the local level;
(v)"
Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
On page 4, line 12 of the striking amendment, after "Three" strike all material through "five" on line 12 and insert "elected official members representing counties and five elected official"

EFFECT: (1) Specifies that a report produced by the Department of Community, Trade, and Economic Development (DCTED) for the local government global warming mitigation and adaptation program must consider the positive and negative impacts to affordable housing, employment, transportation costs, and economic development that result from addressing the impacts of climate change at the local level.
(2) Directs the DCTED to, when developing a climate change report, consider positive and negative impacts to affordable housing, employment, transportation costs, and economic development that result from addressing the impacts of climate change at the local level.
(3) Requires city and county members serving on the climate change advisory policy committee to be elected officials.
(4) Adds a member representing an association of commercial forestry interests to the list of nonvoting ex officio members serving on the climate change advisory policy committee.
