EFFECT: Except for those statutes in chapter 36.70A RCW, the amendment eliminates the requirement that the report by Department of Community, Trade, and Economic Development include recommendations for changes to current statutes enabling state and local governments to address climate change issues and reducing dependence on foreign oil through land use and transportation planning.
