   Renumber the subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

   EFFECT: The Amendment:

   (1) Removes the requirement that the Board only provide financial assistance to projects consistent with the Economic Development Commission's state comprehensive economic development plan, once the plan is adopted.

   (2) Removes the requirement that an application must demonstrate convincing evidence that the median hourly wage of the private sector jobs created after the project is completed will exceed the countywide median hourly wage.

   (3) Removes as prioritization factors whether the proposed project: (a) offers a health insurance plan for employees that includes an option for their dependents, and (b) will increase existing capacity necessary to accommodate projected population and employment growth in a specified manner.

   (4) Eliminates the sections related to establishing and implementing the Building Communities Fund program.
