   On page 3, line 33, after "RCW;" strike "and"

   On page 3, line 36, after "RCW" insert "; and

(m) A person in legal possession of a potentially dangerous wild animal prior to the effective date of this act and who is the legal possessor of the animal. The person must maintain veterinary records, acquisition papers for the animal, if available, or other documents or records that establish that the person possessed the animal prior to the effective date of this act, and present the paperwork to the animal control or law enforcement authority upon request. The person shall have the burden of proving that he or she possessed the animal prior to the effective date of this act"

   On page 4, line 3, after "animal" strike "except as provided in subsection (3) of this section"

   On page 4, beginning on line 6, strike all of subsection (3)

   On page 4, line 21, after "act" strike "in violation of section 4 of this act"

   Renumber the sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
