   On page 271, after line 35, insert the following:

   "(3) The community and technical colleges shall report running start enrollments to the office of financial management and to the legislature as state-supported enrollments at the rate of 0.4 full-time equivalent state-supported enrollments for every 1.0 full-time equivalent running start student. The state-supported enrollment target in subsection (1) of this section shall not be increased as a result of counting these running start enrollments."

   Renumber the sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: Authorizes community and technical colleges to count 40% of their Running Start enrollments for K-12 students that are funded through local school districts against the enrollment targets for non-K12 students that are funded through direct state appropriations to the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges.
