On page 2, beginning on line 7, strike all of subsection (8) and insert the following:
     "(8) In 1890, individual states began to adopt women's suffrage beginning with Wyoming, followed by Colorado (1893), Utah (1896), and Idaho (1896). On November 8, 1910, Washington became the first twentieth century state to permanently enact women's suffrage;"
