"NEW SECTION.  Sec. 6   The office of the insurance commissioner, or a designee, is instructed to keep records of (1) the rates and premiums charged for low-income automobile liability policies under this act, (2) the number of insureds covered by policies under this act, (3) the amount of aggregate losses paid on policies under this act, and (4) the distribution of policies under this act by county and by insured's annual income. The office of the insurance commissioner is instructed to report to the legislature by December 1, 2009, as to whether the low-income auto liability policies under this act should continue or be modified.

NEW SECTION.  Sec. 7   This act takes effect July 1, 2008."
