AN ACT Relating to training medical students to work with patients with developmental disabilities; and creating a new section.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1 The University of Washington medical school shall develop a plan to train students to work with patients with developmental disabilities. The plan must include incentives for students to undertake the training. The medical school must present the plan, including costs, to the appropriate committees of the legislature no later than November 30, 2007.
